HDGSL Seeks Partnership with KWSG on Sustainable Electric Transportation

In its stride at building a sustainable initiative that would further position its transport system for prosperity, the Kwara State government is in talks with the House of Destiny Global Services Ltd (HDGSL) in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership (CIML) on integrating their electric tricycle into the State's transportation system. KW-PPA Inaugurates Committee to Standardize Building Procurement Rates

COMMISSIONER LAUDS EKITI, IREPODUN COUNCIL CHAIRMEN ON PROJECTS

The Executive Chairmen of Ekiti and Irepodun Local Government Areas have been lauded over the choices of projects  executed since their assumptions of office, which have positively impacted the lives of their constituents. The Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Development, Hon. Public Relations Unit Charged on Proactiveness

Staffers of the newly created Public Relations Unit of the Kwara State Ministry of Communications have been charged to be proactive in the discharge of their duties. The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Alhaji Yahaya Mohammed, gave the charge yesterday while receiving the staff of the unit in his office at the new State Secretariat, Phase II. Alh. KWSG WARNS RESIDENTS AGAINST ERECTION OF STRUCTURES ON WATER PIPELINES

The Kwara State Government has warned residents on the dangers of erecting structures on the water pipelines across the state. The Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Usman Yunusa Lade, gave this warning today during an inspection of the major pipeline at Flower Garden, which has just been repaired. The Kwara State Government wishes to announce to the public that the State-wide monthly environmental sanitation exercise for the month of March, will come up on Saturday 29th March, 2025 between the hours of Seven O'clock and Ten O'clock (7:00 am to 10:00 am) in the morning. KWSG CHARGES PRIVATE SCHOOL OWNERS ON COMPLIANCE WITH CRECHE REGISTRATION

The Kwara State Government has charged all private school owners operating crèches or accommodating pupils between the ages of 0-6 to comply with crèche registration procedures in order to enhance childcare standards, reiterating the need to fulfill crèche registration requirements set by the Ministry of Social Development. The Commissioner for Social Development, Hon. Mariam Nnafatima Imam, PhD, gave the charge recently during an inspection of private crèches in Offa and Ijagbo towns within the Kwara South Senatorial District by the Ministry’s Monitoring Team.
