The Kwara State Government through Hospitals Management Board has recorded an unforgettable Achievement  towards health sector in the State,  the Kwara State government  has marked a sustainable Improvement in the state healthcare. KWSG REITERATES COMMITMENT TO QUALITY HEALTHCARE.

Kwara State Government has again reiterated its commitment to the provision of quality and affordable healthcare services to Kwara residents to enhance the healthy living of the people. The Executive Secretary of the Agency, Dr.Olubunmi Jetawo-Winter, stated this today at the inter-ministerial press briefing organized by the Kwara State Ministry of Communications. The scribe disclosed that the mandate of the Agency is to provide affordable, accessible, and quality health care services to all the residents of Kwara state, irrespective of tribe or religious beliefs. Cancer: KWSG Screens 1,151 Women

....... restates commitment towards adequate healthcare service delivery  The Kwara State Government has disclosed that no fewer than 1,151 women as well as other 807 individuals had been screened for breast and cervical cancers respectively, in the last quarter of the 2024. The state Commissioner for Health, Dr Amina Ahmed El-Imam who made the disclosure at a quarterly Inter-Ministerial Press Briefing in Ilorin today, explained that "all suspicious breast lesions had Fine Needle Aspirate for Cytology (FNAC) done. She added that all other individuals with diagnosed cases were directed to the Kwara State University Teaching Hospital (KWASUTH), Ilorin, for proper medical attention from experts. According to her, "between October 21st and December 12th, 2024, a total number of 1,151 women and 807 other individuals were screened for breast and cervical cancers respectively". KWASRRA Employs 300 Youths, Over 270,000 Kwarans Registered

KWGIS PROCESSES 334 CERTIFICATES OF OCCUPANCY, READY FOR COLLECTION

The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Geographic Information Service (KWGIS) ESV. Abdulkareem Babatunde Sulyman, has disclosed that 178 Certificates of Occupancy (C of Os) have been processed and duly signed by Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for collection. The Chairman made this disclosure while giving an account of the Agency's stewardship at the last quarterly inter- ministerial press briefing, organised by the Ministry of Communications. ESV. Sulyman said, the Agency has processed a total number of 156 in the second quarter, and 178 in the last quarter of 2024, making a total of 334 certificates of occupancy duly processed to the final stage and ready for collection.
