Tourism Board to Synergize with Education Ministry to boost tourism
The Kwara State Commissioner of Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, has indicated that a harmonious synergy will be built between the Kwara State Hospitality and Tourism Development Board and the State Ministry of Education to increase the patronage of tourist sites and boost revenue for the state. Towoju gave the indication during a working visit to the Kwara State Hospitality and Tourism Development Board with his management team. He reiterated that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is keen on the development of the state, hence the need to attract investors and tourists to the state through the creation of the Ilorin Visual Arts Centre, an international tourist centre; a project that will be the first of its kind in the state, the country, as well as in West Africa.
