The Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, has showered encomiums on Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on his approach to governance, calling it a "clear departure from the past.' Towoju gave the commendation at a KwaraTv program, 'AM Drive' , today.  He submitted that Kwarans are lucky to have a governor who puts the interest of the people before his own, stating that, "we have never had it this good." Olabode George Towoju, has called on political parties to be united while maintaining peace and orderliness as the general elections approach.  Towoju made the call at a stakeholders meeting of all political parties in the State, organized by the Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA), held at the Ministry's conference room today.  He said the government of the day is passionate about the security of lives and properties and he pleaded that all acts of thuggery and vandalism should be shunned. Olabode George Towoju, has called on the youths of the state to shun thuggery and other social vices, in order to maintain the peace and harmony the state is known for. Towoju made this call today while playing host to the representatives of the Kwara State Chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) in the Ministry's conference room. Olabode George Towoju, has re-echoed the government's commitment towards embarking on quality road construction projects all over the senatorial districts of the state.  Towoju made this assertion during a radio programme in Ilorin. He lauded the administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for putting Kwarans first by helping to construct link roads, even to the innermost parts of the state, thereby making it easier to move about and do businesses from one point to the other.  "It gladdens my heart to tell you that we have been constantly getting positive feedbacks from the people and this is also fueling us to do more.  "Up to 200 roads have so far been done, with many still ongoing. KWSG maximising potentials of Kwara Women-Towoju

Olabode George Towoju, has reiterated the interest of the government in maximising the potentials of the Kwara woman so as to help with the development of the state. Towoju gave the submission during a familiarization visit to the Kwara State Chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), on Tuesday, which also coincided with the International Women's Day, in Ilorin.  He stated that Gov. Tourism Board to Synergize with Education Ministry to boost tourism

Olabode George Towoju, has indicated that a harmonious synergy will be built between the Kwara State Hospitality and Tourism Development Board and the State Ministry of Education to increase the patronage of tourist sites and boost revenue for the state.  Towoju gave the indication during a working visit to the Kwara State Hospitality and Tourism Development Board with his management team. Kwara sustains lead on PGF performance ranking

Kwara State has again been ranked number one on the table of developmental strides recorded for January 2022 in states governed by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), a statement from the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) has said.   Kwara was winning the laurels for the fourth time.   The state shared the number one position with Lagos and Kaduna which posted the same points across various sectors examined for the month.   In the statement released by the Director of Planning and Strategy at the PGF Folohunsho Aluko, Kwara topped the table of excellent performances alongside Kaduna and Lagos states. The three states recorded 16 developmental strides apiece across various sectors.   Kwara State had similarly topped the Forum’s achievements’ table for September, 2020; March, 2021; and November 2021.   "The entries for this edition witnessed more improvements as regards developmental strides collated from the Forum states in (January) 2022,” the statement said.
