Civil Servants in the State Ministry of Communications have commended the State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on the implementation of the new minimum wage across all levels of the service. The workers held special prayer sessions on Friday to beseech God to continue to guide the Governor aright. The workers later trouped to the office of the Commissioner, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, to urge him to pass their appreciation to the governor. Speaking on behalf of the workers, the Director Personnel, Finance and Supply (DPFS), Alhaji Hassan Taiye Afodun, said workers in Kwara State have never had it so good, in terms of minimum wage. Afodun said apart from promoting workers' welfare, the governor has also been implementing projects that have the potentials of boosting the economy of the State.
