Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Olabode George Towoju, has  described as  fallacy views in certain quarters that the State Executive Council only holds meetings twice a year. Towoju, who made this assertion on a Radio Kwara programme, disclosed that  the State Executive Council has met not less than twice in the last three weeks and deliberated on issues pertinent to the development of the state. "The insinuations, in certain quarters, that the State Executive Council, under the leadership of Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, does not hold council meetings regularly or meets only twice a year, is pure fallacy. "Such insinuations are the machinations of politically-displaced people seeking any straw to hold in order to remain relevant in the new political configuration of our dear state, Kwara," he said.
