KWSG harps on preservation of Emirate culture

The Kwara State Government has re-echoed its commitment to partnering with educational institutions which will help increase and boost the literacy rate and foster cultural preservation in the state.  This was made known by the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, on the occasion of the "Public Presentation of the 5th Book of Readings & Awards" organized by the Center for Ilorin Studies (CILS), University of Ilorin, which held in the Banquet hall today.  According to him, the CILS is saddled with the responsibility of preserving the cultural heritage of Ilorin Emirate and he lauded the Management for excelling against all odds.  Mallam Abdulrazaq, who was ably represented by the state Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, has described the three years of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's administration as a liberating one.   Towoju, who gave the assertion today while speaking with newsmen, stated that the governor has been consistent in delivering the dividends of democracy to all Kwarans, irrespective of age, tribe, or political affiliations.
