Ministry of Transportation Receives New Permanent Secretary


The Kwara State Ministry of Transportation has received the newly appointed Permanent Secretary, Alh. Salau Kabiru Abdullahi, following the recent swearing in of some Permanent Secretaries in the State.

The Commissioner for Transportation, Hon. Lafia Aliyu Korasabi who received the Permanent Secretary in his office today, congratulated him on his appointment and acknowledged his dedication to duty and rich experience as an administrator in the Kwara State Civil Service.

The Commissioner, expressed confidence in his ability to perform excellently and achieve the aim and objectives of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for the creation of the Ministry, while assuring him of his maximum corporation at all times.

He promised the support of the management and Staff of the Ministry towards achieving excellence, aimed at driving the Ministry forward. Lafia equally urged the Permanent Secretary to ensure excellent discharge of his duties to justify the confidence reposed in him by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

In his address, the Permanent Secretary, Alh. Salau Kabiru Abdullahi, appreciated the Governor for his  appointment and pledged to work together with the management as a family, while trying his best to ensure that the target, goals and policies of the State Ministry of Transportation are attained.

On her part, the Director, Personnel, Finance and Supply of the Ministry, Hajia Medinat Ajao, described the newly appointed Permanent Secretary as an astute administrator who knows his onion, having traversed various government offices, adding that such quality will translate to better service, capable of moving the Ministry forward.
