Commissioner Charges Consultants on performance

Kwara State  Commissioner for Solid Minerals Development, Chief Mrs Abosede Olaitain Buraimoh has assured revenue consultants of haulage fees on Marbles, Metal scraps  Sand and laterite of Government Cooperation, adding that their challenges would be chanelled appropriately to enhance their productivity on the assigned task. 

The Commissioner   gave this assurances in her office today, when Revenue Consultants paid her a familiarization visit, following her assumption of office as the new Commissioner in the Ministry. 

Having studied their records of revenue remittance, Buraimoh commended the Consultants for their regular remittance of haulage revenue into government coffers and charged them to continue with same Spirit of consistency. 

She thereafter assured them that Government will look into their challenges, with the aim of addressing them, so as to enhance their productivity on the task assigned them. 

Speaking on behalf of  other Consultants, Otunba Ahmed Gegele of Shomat-gulf Ventures appraised the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq led administration, for giving them the opportunity and conducive atmosphere to operate in their specialized line of duty, appealing to government to help address the challenges facing their revenue collection. 


The meeting which eventually turned out to a brainstorming session on the way forward and hope for a robust working relationship for an effective and seamless revenue remittance, was attended by other Consultants like; Mr Bello Bashir of Alhaji wowo Bello and Sons Ltd, Mr Reuben Okediji of Gold twice Ventures and Alhaji Muhammed Abdullahi of Osholo Ventures Nig Ltd.

Others are; Mr Gabriel Femi of Femoni Gab Ventures, Mr Mustapha Akeem of Gold twice Ventures and a host of others.

Kwara State Government Promotes Over 2,000 Civil Servants

  The Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved the release of the 2023 promotion letters to eligible civil servants in the state. The Permanent Secretary of the State Civil Service Commission, Hajia Kifayat Jimoh, disclosed this today, March 6, 2025, in Ilorin, the state capital. According to the Permanent Secretary, a total of 2,094 out of 2,122 candidates who sat for the promotion examination were successful. She expressed the Commission's appreciation to the Governor for graciously approving the distribution of the promotion letters and urged the promoted civil servants to rededicate themselves to service in order to enhance the government's objective of effective service delivery to the people of the state.
