KWSG INSPECTS CONSTRUCTION SITE OF PROTOTYPE PRIMARY SCHOOL AT ADETA
The Kwara State Government has inspected the construction site of Kwara State prototype primary school at Adeta in Ilorin West Local Government Area of the state, restating its pledge to reposition the education sector in the state.
The school, which is a three storey building consisting of modern day facilities and convenience such as cooling system, classrooms, water and electricity reticulation, alternative power supply including generating sets and solar, digital boards, e-library and state of art playing ground among others for the pupils.
The Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Dr Segun Ogunsola, who inspected the various project sites under the supervision of the Ministry recently, emphasized the need for a quality job in the primary school project execution.
The Commissioner stressed that the State Government will not tolerate sub-standard work on any of its building contracts, urging the Contractor to ensure the project meets the contract time line so that the citizens can enjoy the benefit of governance.
Dr Ogunsola assured the Contractor that the state government is open to assist to accomplish the project, while promising to inspect the project regularly in order to ensure that the project meets the standard required by the State Government.
On the entourage of the Commissioner were the Director, Building Service, Architect Bilyaminu Lawal; Director, Public Buildings and Works, Builder Femi Ibiyinka; and some officers of the ministry.
