Kwara TESCOM Opens Application Portal for Teaching Jobs

The Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has released the application link for its teaching job openings.

Interested and qualified individuals can apply through: https://tescom.kwarastate.gov.ng.

The link will go live at 12 midnight on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, and will close on Friday, February 14th, 2025.

In a statement on Tuesday, TESCOM Chairman Mallam Bello Tauheed Abubakar urged all applicants to carefully read through the portal for guidance on the application process.

“All applicants are advised to read the press statement initially issued on the recruitment process. The statement is available on the portal for ease of reference,” the statement said.

“For clarity, persons without a university degree in relevant subject areas should not apply. Holders of NCE who do not have a university degree should not apply.”

The statement added that applicants who meet the first-layer recruitment criteria will be invited for a Computer-Based Test (CBT) at a center closest to their local government of residence.

Applicants who pass the CBT will be invited for interviews, while successful candidates will undergo drug tests at approved NDLEA centers, among other verification exercises that will precede the issuance of employment letters.

“This process, for the record, will strongly balance qualification, competence, employability, and availability to work in the hinterlands/rural areas where we mostly require teachers,” the statement said.

 • Applicants to Report at Their Local Government Areas on September 5 The Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) wishes to inform the general public that all applicants for its community-based recruitment exercise are required to report to their respective Local Government Areas on Thursday, September 5th, 2024, by 9:00 AM prompt.
