KWARA STATE GOVERNMENT RECORDED AN UNFORGETTABLE ACHIEVMENTIN HEALTH SECTOR.

The Kwara State Government through Hospitals Management Board has recorded an unforgettable Achievement  towards health sector in the State,  the Kwara State government  has marked a sustainable Improvement in the state healthcare.

The Executive Secretary Hospital Management Board Dr. Abdulraheem Malik stated this during the fourth- quarter Inter-Ministerial press briefing held at Finance Conference room.

Dr. Abdulraheem Malik highlighted most of the Achievements for the second terms of his Execellecy, prioritized the training and development of healthcare workers in the state. Various training programs have been organized and conducted for doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge. Continuous medical education programs have also been implemented to keep the healthcare workforce updated with the latest advancements in medical practice.

Recruitment of Healthcare Professionals: To address the shortage of healthcare professionals in some hospitals, the management board has facilitated the recruitment of doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers to ensure optimal staffing levels in all healthcare facilities. This recruitment drive has significantly improved the quality of healthcare services provided in the state.,

Improved Healthcare Service Delivery

Reduction in Waiting Time: With the expansion and upgrade of healthcare facilities, the waiting time for patients seeking medical care has significantly reduced. This has improved patient satisfaction and overall healthcare service delivery in the state.

Enhanced Diagnostic and Treatment Capabilities: The provision of new medical and laboratory equipment has enhanced the diagnostic and treatment capabilities of healthcare facilities in Kwara State. Patients can now access advanced medical procedures and treatments without having to travel long distances to seek medical care.

Access to Blood and Blood Components: The establishment of blood banks in selected hospitals has improved access to blood and blood components for patients in need of transfusions. This has saved many lives and reduced mortality rates in the state.

In conclusion, the Kwara State Hospitals Management Board remains committed to improving healthcare service delivery in the state.
