GOVT REITERATES COMMITMENTS TO SAFETY OF LIVES
Kwara State Government has again reiterated the commitment of Governor AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq led administration at ensuring that State hospitals work optimally, to safe lives, for the love of humanity.
The Executive Secretary, Kwara Hospital Management Board, Dr Abdulraheem Malik dropped this hint in Ilorin today, while featuring on Kwara State Television popular peogramme, "Network Kwara."
He affirmed that, the state Government has commenced the equipment of state hospitals with solar lights, for the purpose of addressing the prevailing epileptic power supply, Kwara State.
According to the ES; "Kwara State Hospital Management Board is one of the government Agencies , saddled with the responsibility of managing the operations of the 46 secondary care hospitals across the State. The Agency has therefore organized trainings and retraining of workers, on those areas that will enhance better services at the hospitals."
Dr Malik also seized the opportunity to inform the public that, these hospitals have been provided with modern and relevant machines, that will enable the them to provide quality health delivery to the people.
"Government hospitals are now receiving commendations and recommendations from members of the public because of the improvement in service, as against residents previous ugly experiences, before this present administration came on Board."
While commending Government efforts at ensuring that the quality health services to the people, he disclosed that "SERVICOM has been put in place at the hospitals, to handle patients complaints even from the comfort of their homes. Government has embark on full renovation of the state hospitals and work is currently ongoing in those facilities. Malik concluded.
