KWASAA Partners KWIRS on Revenue Generation

The Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA) is in partnership with the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS) to improve its revenue generation in the 2025 fiscal year. 

  

 The General Manager of KWASAA, Al-Imam Ismail Asukuti stated this during a meeting with the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service. He appreciated the State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for giving the Agency a free hand to operate.


Asukuti restated  the Agency's readiness to ensure that the signage and outdoor industry in Kwara State is in accordance with best global practices for the benefit of Kwarans.


The KWASAA boss who spoke on the challenges of the Agency, requested for operational vehicles and computers to ease the Agency's operations and increase revenue generation for the State.


On the 2024 revenue generation target, he said the Agency has gradually moved to about 100 million in spite of the challenges and called for the collaborative support of KWIRS to ensure the Agency's optimal performance.


In his remarks, the Director of Ministries Department and Agencies, at the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS), Mr Omotayo Ayinla expressed the readiness of KWIRS to partner with all agencies and parastatals to improve revenue generation of Kwara.


The meeting had in attendance the Secretary of KWASAA, Mallam Abdulrahman Kuranga Yero, the Head of billing and operations, Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar Gunu, and Mr Abayomi Ajiboso from KWIRS, among others.
