Kwara to Always Maintain Peace, Harmony - Ndanusa

The Kwara State Government has restated its commitment to maintaining peace and harmony, urging youths to shun all forms of violence.

The State Commissioner for Youths Development, Hon. Shehu Ndanusa Usman stated this while appearing on a radio programme on Albarika FM titled "Enact Hour".

He commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for giving the youths of Kwara freewill and for creating enabling environment for them to thrive.

The Commissioner reiterated that the government has embarked on provisions of necessary entrepreneurial skills and acquisition for youths interested in agriculture and ICT. He stressed that appropriate initiatives have been taken to engage youths interested in agriculture to create more employment opportunities for them.

Speaking further he commended the Chairman, National Youths Council of Nigeria, Kwara State Chapter, Mallam Ali Nasiru Yusuf for ensuring that youths in the State remain peaceful and salm.

He also appreciated the youths for choosing to dialogue with the government instead of engaging in violent protests.

KWASRRA COMMENCES LOCAL GOVERNMENT RESIDENTS REGISTRATION

The Kwara State Residents Registration Agency has commenced registration for the staff of Local Government Areas and farmers across the 16 Local Government Areas of Kwara State. The second phase of the registration exercise is focused on the registration of the members of Staff of the Local Government Areas (LGA), Local Government Education Authority ( LGEA), Teaching Service Commission ( TESCOM) and farmers across the State.
