Kwara TESCOM thanks job applicants as recruitment process enters final lap
* says 4,163 applicants interviewed out of 5,290 invitees * Commission says merit, equity, needs key metrics for finalists * shortlisted candidates will be contacted: Chairman Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) on Tuesday commended all the applicants who took part in its recruitment process, saying the attention the programme received underscores high public confidence in the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. TESCOM Chairman Mallam Bello Taoheed said a total of 4,163 applicants were screened and interviewed, down from the 5,290 originally invited for the exercise. “The difference in the two figures comes from the applicants who did not turn up for the interview or did not meet the well-stated criteria for the screening,” he said. “Out of the 4,163 screened and interviewed, 2,169 are females, while 1,994 are males.
