Kwara Commissions Six Youth-Friendly Centres to Improve Access to SRHR Services

The Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency (KWSPHCDA) has commissioned six Youth-Friendly Centres across three Local Government Areas of the state, aimed at improving adolescents’ and young people’s access to confidential, integrated and person-centred sexual and reproductive health services. Kwara SAPZ: State Government Opens* *Bids for ATC Infrastructure Procurement

The Kwara State Government has conducted the bid opening exercise for the procurement of infrastructure works for the Agricultural Transformation Centres (ATCs) under the Kwara State Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ) Project. The proposed ATCs, to be located in Olodan, Ifelodun LGA; Afon, Asa LGA; Gidan Magajiya, Baruten LGA; and Kinikini, Kaiama LGA, are designed to serve as aggregation and raw-material supply centres for the Agro-Industrial Hub (AIH) to be established in Malete, Moro LGA. The infrastructure procurement is structured into two packages, with each package comprising three lots covering the four designated ATC locations across the state. The Agency is concerned about the misleading narrative surrounding the exercise and wishes to clarify the issues.
