The Kwara State government has secured the approval of the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) to commence the training of graduate intern nurses in Kwara State for the first time in the history of the State. The Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Hospitals Management Board, Dr Abdulraheem Malik, disclosed this today during the Board’s management meeting where he mentioned that Sobi Specialist Hospital, Ilorin and General Hospital, Offa, will both be the pioneer hospitals for the internship training.
