Kwara State Govt to Commence Training of Graduate Intern-Nurses

The Kwara State government has  secured the approval of the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) to commence the training of graduate intern nurses in Kwara State for the first time in the history of the State. 2025 EID-UL-FITRI CELEBRATIONS: KWARTMA DEPLOYS PERSONNEL FOR HITCH-FREE TRAFFIC.

The Kwara State Road Traffic Management Authority (KWARTMA) has deployed its officers and men to strategic areas in Kwara State to ensure free flow of traffic for this year Eid Celebrations. In a statement made from the office of the Ag. Chief Executive Officer, Engr.Bamidele Michael, the Eid ul Fitr marks the end of Ramadan,the Islamic Holy month of fasting and prayer. In a groundbreaking initiative aimed at tackling youths unemployment and fostering national development, the Kwara State Government has announced a strategic partnership with the Nigerian Army, to empower voluntary youth organizations through training, job creation, and skills development programmes. The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Geographic Information Service,  ESV. The Executive Chairmen of Ekiti and Irepodun Local Government Areas have been lauded over the choices of projects  executed since their assumptions of office, which have positively impacted the lives of their constituents. Public Relations Unit Charged on Proactiveness

Staffers of the newly created Public Relations Unit of the Kwara State Ministry of Communications have been charged to be proactive in the discharge of their duties. The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Alhaji Yahaya Mohammed, gave the charge yesterday while receiving the staff of the unit in his office at the new State Secretariat, Phase II. Alh. Mohammed said the unit was created to correct negative perceptions about the government by  projecting its image to the citizens.
