Kwara SAPZ Visits Milkin Barn for Knowledge Sharing

The Kwara Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ) Project  team has embarked on a 3-day visit to Milk-in Barn at Fashola Farm, Iseyin in Oyo  State, to broaden  horizons, widen  and share knowledge, expertise and skills about dairy practice/management, to enhance the implementation of Agro-Industrial Hub (AIH) and Agricultural Transformation Centers (ATCs) to be cited in Kwara State. Modified Monthly Environmental Sanitation Holds April 26

Members of the public are hereby informed that the Kwara State modified Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise for the month of April has been scheduled to hold on Saturday, 26th April, 2025 between the hours of seven o'clock and ten o'clock (7:00am to 10:00am) in the morning. Residents within the state capital and Local Government Areas are therefore enjoined to fully participate in the exercise by clearing both their residential and business environments to ensure a clean and healthy state. The Kwara State Government has announced the full closure of Ibrahim Taiwo Road (Taiwo Isale), beginning on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. The temporary closedown is to allow for asphalt laying as part of ongoing road rehabilitation efforts on the road. Honourable Commissioner for Works, Engr. Abdulquawiy Olododo, stated that all vehicular traffic will be redirected via Wahab Folawiyo (Unity Road) and Obbo Road. KWARA GOVT APPROVES REPAIRS OF TRANSFORMERS IN IGBAJA

In its continued efforts to drive infrastructural development across the State, the Kwara State Government has approved the repair of two 2.5MVA, 33/11KV transformers in Igbaja, Ifelodun Local Government Area of the State. This was disclosed by the Commissioner for Energy, Engr. AbdulAzeez Kola AbdulGaniy, during an on-the-spot assessment visit to the transformer site in Igbaja. He emphasized the urgency of the repair, noting that the work will be fast-tracked to restore electricity to the area.
